Los Ceibos add highly promising lock Jerónimo Ureta

Los Ceibos have added the highly promising lock, Jerónimo Ureta. The Argentina XV representative is the latest name confirmed for the Córdoba-based team that will compete in the new Súper Liga Americana de Rugby (SLAR) beginning in March.

Ureta is the fourth lock on the roster. He joins Rodrigo Fernández Criado, Franco Molina, and Carlos Repetto. All players are considered in the next of category for Argentine locks behind those at Jaguares in addition to Tomás Lavanini, and Mariano Galarza in Europe.

In signing to play in the SLAR, Ureta officially has his first professional contract. However, the uncapped 23-year-old has prior experience playing for Los Jaguares XV in the Currie Cup First Division.
