The British & Irish Lions 2021 tour to South Africa has been announced. The eight match tour will see matches exclusively played in South Africa. This means there there will be no Lions date for Argentina, something that had been discussed as a possibility. The same is true of a tour match in Namibia.
The British & Irish Lions will play five warm-up matches in South Africa before the three test matches against South Africa. The matches will be played in six different cities with the tour starting in Cape Town and ending in Johannesburg.
The three test matches will be played at Soccer City in Johannesburg, Cape Town Stadium, and Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
