Müller intercepts Sánchez to help Brive beat Paris

Axel Müller made his presence known once again on Sunday. The Pumas Sevens international had an outstanding game for Brive against Stade Français Paris, showing off his footwork and vision on one incisive counter-attack and then intercepting a pass from countryman Nicolás Sánchez to score a vital first-half try in the 26-21 victory.

The win holds Brive’s mid-table position with the club level on points with 7th-place La Rochelle after 10 weeks. Four clubs – Montpellier, Toulouse, Clermont, and Toulon – are just two points ahead. Lyon lead the Top 14 with 35 points, Santiago Cordero’s Bordeaux just one behind on 34.
