Women’s Eagles call for Tess Feury

The USA has called up fullback Tess Feury for the upcoming Can-Am Series against Canada. She replaces Bulou Mataitoga on the Women’s Eagles roster, the latter forced to pull out due to injury.

Feury made her test debut against England in 2016 and has also appeared on the World Sevens Series. The 23-year-old Penn State graduate was part of the USA’s team at the 2017 World Cup in Ireland and has six caps on her ledger.

The Women’s Eagles will face Canada on Wednesday in the first of two tests at Chula Vista, the second on Sunday. Both are set for 1pm local starts and are open to the public with free admission.
