USA to host Canada at Chula Vista in November

The USA will host Canada for a two-game test series at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista this coming November. Having already played two exhibition matches and one test during July’s Super Series, the Women’s Eagles will close their 2019 campaign against familiar opponents on November 20 and 24.

An 11-day joint training camp was held in May with the USA traveling to Guelph, Ontario. The camp included two exhibition fixtures as preparation for the Super Series that took place at Chula Vista. Canada were defeated by the USA in that meeting, breaking a three-year losing streak in the Can-Am rivalry. The two teams are now tied at 19 wins each all-time.

Canada are currently ranked 4th overall in the world with with USA next at 5th overall, narrowly ahead of 6th place Italy. November’s matches – to be played on a Wednesday and Sunday – will both be 3pm local kickoffs. The USA will assemble ahead of the test series on November 15.
