Fiji make final cut, name Non-Traveling Reserves

John McKee has made his final cut ahead of the Rugby World Cup. As expected he has trimmed one of his tighthead props, with Lee-Roy Atalifo the odd man out. Manasa Saulo and Kali Tawake will travel as specialists while Peni Ravai covers both sides of the scrum.

Also confirmed was the non-traveling reserve list. Among the overseas talent is London Irish lock Albert Tuisue and Newcastle Falcons back row Nemani Nagusa. There is also one uncapped player – national u20 captain Tevita Ikanivere will cover hooker if called upon.

Fiji have completed their warm-up schedule for the tournament. They will now prepare for their opening Pool D match against Australia in Sapporo on September 21. Uruguay will be their second opponents just four days later in Kamaishi.

A detailed squad list can be seen here.
