History was made on Wednesday with Paraguay and the Cayman Islands facing-off for the first time in test match rugby. The fixture was a second round match in the Americas Rugby Challenge (ARCh) and gave both teams the opportunity of turning-around their opening ARCh losses.
In round one the Cayman Islands fell short against Colombia while Paraguay were beaten in a major upset by Mexico. To have any shot at winning the ARCh tournament both Paraguay and the Cayman Islands needed a win in round two.
