Brazil To Face Barbarians in São Paulo

Brazil will face the Barbarians in a home international in November. Confirmed for Thursday November 20 the fixture will be played in São Paulo at the 67,000 capacity Estádio do Morumbi.

The same venue played host to international rugby in November 2018. On that occasion Brazil took-on the Maori All Blacks, trading the local supporters to an impressive scrum performance.

This year’s fixture against the Barbarians is to take place less than three weeks after the Rugby World Cup Final in Yokohama, Japan.

The fixture against is the second match schedule for the Barbarians in November. The first will be against Fiji in London, England on Saturday November 16. The prospects of a second fixture in South America in the November are low due to the pre-arranged scheduling of the match against Fiji.
