MLR Full Match – Toronto Arrows vs Seattle Seawolves

Perhaps no match had greater implications for one team’s playoff chances than the one at York Alumni Field on Sunday. The Toronto Arrows desperately needed a win to stay in the hunt after a difficult road swing to start the season, and had to get one against the defending champion Seattle Seawolves.

Toronto restored their established lineup for the match with Morgan Mitchell back at tighthead and Spencer Jones in the midfield among others. Seattle were without regular flyhalf Ben Cima and opted to use JP Smith at the unfamiliar spot, while they were also left with only 22 players after Kellen Gordon’s flight from Calgary was cancelled.
