David Tameilau scored in the Glasgow Warriors victory on Saturday. Having come on as a replacement the USA Eagles forward provided a support run to score a try from his first touch of that ball, helping the Warriors to an away win over the Cardiff Blues in Wales.
Aged 29-year-old, Tameilau has 13 caps for the USA, the last coming against Chile earlier this month. His test debut was also in the Americas Rugby Championship, against Canada in 2016. He is now chasing the dream of a place on the Eagles’ RWC roster.
