Ardron scores in Super Rugby season opener

Tyler Ardron scored a try in the Super Rugby season opener. Played earlier today in Hamilton, New Zealand the Canadian went over from the back of a scrum to score a first half try for the Chiefs against the Highlanders.

The Chiefs lost the match 30-27, doing so late with the Highlanders scoring through All Black Aaron Smith. The try came four minutes from full time and saw the Highlanders claiming the win despite being one-man down.

Arron’s side will play against next weekend. The Chiefs travel to Australia to face the Brumbies in Canberra on Saturday February 23.
