Cordero Scores As Exeter Chiefs Remain Unbeaten

Santiago Cordero continued his outstanding form this past weekend, scoring a try in a winning-effort against the Bristol Bears. The victory sees the Exeter Chiefs remaining unbeaten in the English Premiership season, joining Saracens at the top of the Premiership with 34 points.

Cordero’s score saw him receiving the ball within striking distance. He stepped in-field to fool the defense and then stepped off his other foot to find a way past addition defenders to score.

The Exeter Chiefs play again this coming Saturday. They are to be at home against Gloucester. On current standings it is 1st vs 3rd in the English Premiership.

Cordero has 33 caps for Argentina. He was the starting right winger for Los Pumas at RWC 2015. His most recent appearance was against Australia in the 2017 Rugby Championship.

With Argentina having quality wingers in Bautista Delguy and Ramiro Moyano at Los Jaguares there are presently no European-Based wingers in the Argentine roster. Nevertheless Cordero is expected to go to RWC 2019 and play in a second RWC.
