Los Jaguares were unable to come away with a win against the Bulls though the desired outcome was achieved. Due to the results of week 18 of the 2018 Super Rugby season Los Jaguares are confirmed as playing in this season’s Quarter Finals.
The Argentina franchise fell against the Bulls in miraculous fashion. Los Jaguares had been leading 19-0 in the opening quarter but went on to be behind at half time and stayed in second place for the remainder of the match.
With one round of the regular season remaining Los Jaguares are second in the African conference. They could yet claim top spot would they defeat the Sharks next weekend and the Lions lose their derby against the Bulls.
Los Jaguares scored scintillating tries against the Bulls today. These includes doubles by both captain Pablo Matera and scrum-half Pablo Matera. Defensive lapses and a gift try to the opposition cost Los Jaguares notably in the match.
