Ardron Scores as Chiefs Humble Reds

Tyler Ardron scored the opening try for the Chiefs who humbled the Reds 36-12 today in Brisbane. The Canadian crossed for the first of what would be five tries scored by the Chiefs.

The result of the match means that the Chiefs rise to overtake the Highlanders to now be third in the New Zealand Super Rugby conference. The Reds remain are fourth in the Australian Conference standings. They are bottom of the four Australian franchises, sitting ahead of Japanese side the Sunwolves.

Also playing this weekend are Los Jaguares. The Argentine franchise are to face the Brumbies in Canberra on Sunday. A match preview can be seen by clicking here.

The Chiefs have a bye next weekend while Los Jaguares face the Blues in New Zealand. On the following weekend the Chiefs play host to Los Jaguares in Rotorua. That match will take place on Friday May 04.
