Barrett named in Sydney Dream Team

Danny Barrett has been named in the official HSBC Dream Team for the Sydney 7s. The powerful Eagles forward was in fine form at the tournament, scoring four tries and using his physicality fend off opponents and create space for others. Barrett was the only Americas player in the media-selected side for Sydney.

Also named in the forwards were South African hooker Kwagga Smith and hard working English standout Phil Burgess. Fiji’s Jerry Tuwai was named as the top halfback with Justin Geduld of the Blitzbokke the second playmaker. New Zealand’s Tim Mikkelson and leading try scorer Seabelo Senatla of South Africa comprise the outside backs.
