Colombia’s Andrés Zafra to face Newcastle Falcons

History will be made on Sunday. Colombia’s Andrés Zafra will play for Lyon away to the Newcastle Falcons in the European Challenge Cup. The 115kg (255 lbs) and 1.98m (6’6″) second-rower will make his Challenge Cup debut from the bench.

The 20-year-old is his country’s first ever athlete to play professional rugby. He joined Lyon this season and was included on the club’s roster for the Challenge Cup. This weekend he will join former Pumas scrum half Agustín Figuerola in tackling the Falcons.
