Scotland Name Roster for Pumas

Scotland Head Coach Vern Cotter has named a 31-man roster for the November Internationals. The Scots will have home advantage against Australia, Argentina and Georgia.

Selected for the first time is Edinburgh prop Allan Dell. The 24-year-old is a former Junior World Championship winner for his native South Africa. He moved to Scotland in 2014 and qualifies by virtue of having a grandparent from the nation.

He comes in for another South African, WP Nel. Both he and Rory Sutherland will play no part in the November Internationals for Scotland.

A surprise exclusion sees no place for Matt Scott. The midfielder has been playing very well in England for Gloucester, but misses out to Stormers standout Huw Jones.

The opening two test matches will be played at Murrayfield. In seeking to promote the game elsewhere Kilmarnock has been allocated the fixture against Georgia. That match will be the first ever match between the countries in Europe and only the second overall.
