Captain Kish named to Dream Team

Canadian captain Jen Kish has been named to the official World Rugby Dream Team for the Rio Olympic 7s. The dynamic forward enjoyed a strong tournament, playing exceptionally well to lead Canada to victory over Great Britain in the Bronze Medal final. Kish is the only player from outside the finalists to make the team, with halfback Kayla Moleschi perhaps the most notable omission.

Filling out the forwards are New Zealand’s Sarah Goss and Australian co-captain Shannon Parry. The backs include the tournament’s outstanding player Charlotte Caslick of Australia, and her teammate Emilee Cherry as the playmakers. New Zealand midfielder Kayla McAlister is joined by the tournament’s top try scorer Portia Woodman as the wing selection.
