USA South Panthers Win Women’s 10’s RAN Championship

The USA Rugby South Panthers came out on top to win the inaugural Women’s 10’s Rugby Americas North Championship. They won the title by defeating Trinidad & Tobago 31-22 in the final.

Finishing in third position was Jamaica. The Jamaican women were too strong for the Bahamas in winning 27-0.

Earlier in the week the USA Rugby South Panthers  enjoyed 17-10 and 14-12 wins over Trinidad & Tobago and Jamaica. Additional results saw the Bahamas downing Jamaica 20-17 and Trinidad & Tobago overcoming the Bahamas 27-12. 

Played in Miami, Florida the Women’s 10’s Rugby Americas North Championship is part of the RAN Super week. The event sees not only Women’s 10’s but also Men’s under 19’s and rugby development activities taking place.

The Super week got underway on Saturday July 9 and will come to a close later on today. The following video is complete coverage of Friday’s matches.
