Damián Schneider to Referee Uruguay vs Emerging Italy Tomorrow

Rosario referee Damián Schneider will take charge of the officiating of tomorrow’s World Rugby Nations Cup opening round fixture between Uruguay and Emerging Italy.

Schneider is one of Argentina’s leading officials. He refereed three matches in the Americas Rugby Championship and in May 2015 he made his debut on the world stage, taking charge of Fiji vs Portugal in the World Rugby Junior World Championship in Lisbon.

Together with Juan Sylvestre and Federico Anselmi Argentina now arguably has greater depth in quality than ever before. Anselmi will referee Canada vs Japan this coming Saturday in Vancouver.
