Cubelli Starts against Crusaders

Brumbies Head Coach Stephen Larkham has retained Puma Tomás Cubelli as his starting scrum half. The Buenos Aires back has started all of the Brumbies Super Rugby fixtures this season and will continue doing so on Sunday with the Canberra-based franchise hosting one of the competition’s classic fixtures.

The teams met in Canberra in the 2004 Super Rugby Final in a match won 47-38 by the Brumbies. Both teams are in strong form. The Brumbies are coming off an away win over the Waratahs in Sydney while the Crusaders defeated Los Jaguares in Christchurch last weekend.

The only change made by Larkham sees Michael Dowsett replacing Joe Powell as the reserve scrum half. Cubelli has been retained as the run-on player in this position.
