Sharks and Jaguares Make Changes for Round Two Match

The Sharks will host Los Jaguares this Saturday in a round two Super Rugby match. Both teams features changes from the teams which featured in the opening round.

Sharks Head Coach Gary Gold has made two changes to his starting lineup from that which defeated the Southern Kings 43-8. In the forwards Stephan Lewies is to start in the second-row with Hyron Andrews dropping to the bench.

The second change sees one Springbok winger replacing another as Lwazi Mvovo has been forced out through injury. Starting in his place will be Rugby World Cup 2007 winner JP Pietersen.

Los Jaguares have made five changes to the starting lineup from that which faced the Cheetahs. In the pack Santiago García Botta and Matías Alemanno are both to start. García Botta comes in for the injured Lucas Noguera Paz at loosehead prop while Alemanno replaces the suspended Tomás Lavanini.

In the backs Santiago González Iglesias replaces the injured Jerónimo de La Fuente as the starting inside center. He does so with Juan Martín Hernández still one week away of being declared match fit. Also earning a start is Matías Orlando who will play right wing with Santiago Cordero moving to fullback to replace the injured Joaquín Tuculet.

Coming onto the bench are Lucas González Amorisono, Felipe Arregui and Joaquín Paz. The trio have all featured in the Americas Rugby Championship in recent weeks. The same is true of replacement scrum half Gonzalo Bertranou.

With Lavanini unavailable specialist back-rower, Javier Ortega Desio will act as cover for second-row. He did for for Los Pumas vs Georgia at Rugby World Cup 2015 following the non-availability of Mariano Galarza.
