Colombia topple Venezuela in Lima

Following an impressive win today in Lima, Peru Colombia are on the verge of retaining the South American B Championship title. Los Tucanes’ 33-5 win over Venezuela today sees Colombia having two wins from as many matches while Venezuela remains winless.

Tournament hosts Peru take-on Ecuador in today’s second match. The winner will face Colombia in the tournament decider on Saturday while the loser will face Venezuela in the Bronze Final.

The tournament champion will face the 2015 South American A Championship’s bottom placed finisher, Brazil in a repechage fixture with the winner qualifying for the 2016 South American B tournament.
