Hernández set to be Unveiled as New Argentine Super Rugby Signing

The French press is reporting that Toulon utility back Juan Martín Hernández has is leaving the club to take up a contract with the UAR. The yet to be confirmed transfer has been circulating on French sources but is yet to be confirmed either by the UAR or the player himself.

Set to turn 33 ahead of the Rugby World Cup Hernández has been plaing outside of Argentina since 2003. He left Deportiva Francesa in Buenos Aires to join Stade Français whom he played for until 2009 when he departed to play for the Sharks in South Africa. Having had his stay ended early though a back injury Hernández returned to france to play for Racing 92 from 2010-2014 and joined Toulon in January 2015.

Now playing inside centre Hernández would join Gabriel Ascárate and Jerónimo De la Fuente as the options. His other positions of fly half and fullback include, at present, Nicolás Sánchez, Santiago González Iglesias, Ramiro Moyano and Joaquín Tuculet.
