Germán Kessler scores try on debut in France

Germán Kessler made history. In his debut appearance in France he was a try scorer. Charente were at home against Pro D2 leaders, Perpignan. Kessler made his debut as a replacement, scoring a try with time up on the clock.

Perpignan won the match 23-20. In doing so, the Catalans occupy top spot of the Pro D2 with 53 championship points. The club is tied with Grenoble while Oyonnax is one point behind on 52. Competition for promotion to the Top 14 is proving to be right this season.
