South Americans in MLR – Week 17 Preview

Week 17 of the Major League Rugby (MLR) season will see matches played on Saturday, and Sunday. Involved in the matches will be players from South America. The following preview details their involvement.

In Louisiana NOLA play host to the Houston SaberCats. The home side have named Chilean Nikola Bursic to start in the second-row and Uruguayan second-rower Ignacio Dotti to start at flanker. Playing for the opposition will be three further Uruguayans. Of them two will start with Diego Magno playing opposite Bursic and Santiago Arata at scrum-half. Alejandro Nieto will feature from the bench.

In Utah the Warriors take-on the San Diego Legion. The home side go into the game with two Brazilian test players in their side. Try scorer from last weekend, Arthur Bergo starts at N8 while Josh Reeves will play fly half.

In Colorado the Glendale Raptors play host to the Seattle Seawolves. Involved will be the Argentine-born, US raised Ben Cima. The USA international will start start at fly half for the visitors.

Week 17 will conclude on Sunday. The final fixture of the round will be played in New York with RUNY playing host to the Austin Elite. The visitors are expected to include South American players in their team.
