Old Glory start the second half of their campaign at home when they host the Seawolves at George Mason Stadium on Sunday. It’s a contest certain to have playoff implications. DC have dropped two in a row, while Seattle scored a timely road win over the Free Jacks last weekend.

| NOTES |
- Injured / unavailable – (Old Glory) Bart Vermeulen, Tevita Naqali, Benjamín Bonasso, Jason Emery; (Seawolves) Ezekiel Lindenmuth, Harison Mataele, Marno Redelinghuys, Kalisi Moli, Davy Coetzer, Dorian Jones, Mark Bennett, Rufus McLean
- it’s a 50th MLR appearance for DC loosehead prop Cali Martinez
- Semi Kunatani gets a first start in Old Glory colors with no Ben Bonasso available this week
- Seattle No8 Riekert Hattingh becomes the 6th player to reach 100 games played… remarkably all of Hattingh’s caps have been as a starter… this will be his 84th game as captain
- it’s a first appearance of the season for Lauina Futi, while Dewald Donald and Sean McNulty are back from injury to take up spots on the bench
- Tia’i Vavao gets his first MLR start in the absence of both Marno Redelinghuys and Kalisi Moli
- the Seawolves will employ a 4/4 split on the bench with no specialist lock or loose forward cover… McNulty provides emergency cover though Drake Davis does have one MLR appearance as a replacement flanker for Houston
| PREDICTION |
Warm and slightly wet conditions are on the forecast, which won’t bother either side. Old Glory looked undercooked when they flopped at Starfire Stadium in early April, but the Seawolves have since been stung by several injuries. The makeshift bench and continued absence of star playmaker Davy Coetzer do not bode well for the visitors. DC are slight favorites at home in Fairfax.
