The Hounds can put a bow on a perfect first half of the campaign if they can secure victory against Old Glory on Sunday. Chicago have taken maximum points in their four games to date and are well ahead of the pack in points differential, while DC are in the middle of the rest who are scrapping for positioning with the postseason just six weeks away.

| NOTES |
- Injured / unavailable – (Hounds) Malcolm May; (Old Glory) Liam Fletcher, Kirby Myhill, Jay Renton
- Matthew Oworu and Peyton Wall are rewarded for strong outings in their first appearances of the season against Seattle last week, with both retained Chicago’s starting lineup
- the Hounds are inching towards their franchise-best winning streak… they won six in a row starting in Round 3 of last season
- Old Glory have opted to rest captain Rob Harley and flanker Aidan King, with no off-weeks between now and the start of the playoffs… Benjamín Bonasso runs out as DC skipper for the first time… he has previously captained New York, Miami, and the US Eagles
- it’s a first start in Old Glory colors for Connor Robinson, with Kirby Myhill not fully fit this week… Robinson was a regular starter with Anthem over the past couple seasons
- Jordan Jackson-Hope pairs with Jason Emery in DC’s midfield for the first time… it’s also a first for Jackson-Hope in the No13 shirt during his MLR career
- ex-NOLA winger Harley Wheeler is set to make his club debut for Old Glory as a replacement… second row Bill Whiteside makes his first match day appearance of the season
| PREDICTION |
Breezy but mild conditions are on the forecast. That shouldn’t have a great impact, though the addition of Emery does give DC an extra kicking option in their backline. That’s matched by Devoto, however, and on paper this is arguably Chicago’s strongest-possible selection. It’s hard to see where the visitors will find an advantage against the league’s hottest team. Chicago are clear favorites at home in Bridgeview.
