In an effort to continue encouraging the growth of rugby in Guatemala the Asociacion Guatemalteca de Rugby has acquired the services of Adrian Horrell. He is to work as an assistant coach with all of Guatemala’s national rugby teams.
Not yet a full member of World Rugby Guatemala is a developing rugby country in Central America which is affiliated with CONSUR rather than NACRA. In 2014 the country finished second in the men’s CONSUR C championship hosted by Panama. Also competing were Costa Rica and the competition’s winners, El Salvador.
