Guido Petti is the 17th Argentine to win the Champions Cup. The Puma became a European Champion on Saturday as Bordeaux defeated the Northampton Saints in the 2025 Final at the neutral venue of Cardiff, Wales. Bordeaux became champions for the first time and denied the Northampton Saints a second title. Guido Petti played in his secondary position of flanker rather than second-row. He played the full 80 minutes.

Federico Méndez became the first Argentine to win the Champions Cup. He did so playing for Bath in the 1998 Final against Brive. In 2000 he won again, this time with the Northampton Saints against Munster. He was joined by Martin Scelzo in the Saints’ team. Guido Petti is the 17th Argentine to win.
