- Gustavo Gobeti earns his first SRA start. He debuted as a replacement vs Dogos.
- Cobras props Lisandro Urrejola and Javier Coronel are Argentines. Flanker Manuel Todaro is too as is fly half Thiago Oviedo. The fly half is presently being prepared to play for Brazil in July. He is eligible via a parent.
- Uncapped Brazilian players Rodolfo Martins and Renato Santos start at flanker. This comes with Adria de Melo and Cléber Dias playing in their secondary positions of second-row rather than back-row.
- Shuffling also sees João do Amaral playing in a third position. Having played fly half and fullback he now moves to the wing.
- Nicolás D’Amorim will lead Los Pampas in place of fellow flanker Manuel Bernstein.
- Juan Manuel Leguizamón has rotated heavily which brings with it a formidable replacements bench including Javier Corvalán, Federico Lavanni, Leo Mazzini, Mateo Albanese, Estanislao Renthel, and Puma Justo Piccardo.
- Ignacio Inchauspe will play out of position at fly half. His regular position is scrum-half and he has played in the position for his country’s next-of-XV, the Argentina XV.
- Francisco Quinn will also play out of position. He has moved between fullback and wing but will start at inside center against Os Cobras.
- Argentina XV winger Jerónimo Ulloa is back from injury for the first time this year.
- Os Cobras have never beaten Los Pampas before.
- Os Cobras are winless thus far in SRA 2025.
- Leading Chilean official Frank Méndez will referee the match.
| PREDICTION |
The league leading Pampas are well-placed going into their match in Brazil this season. Os Cobras were outplayed in Buenos Aires earlier this season and are yet to be competitive against Argentine opposition this season. The skill-set, speed, and execution of Los Pampas gives them a clear advantage. Los Pampas are favorites to win in São Paulo.
