Argentina Roster for 2025 u20 Rugby Championship

Argentina has finalized a 31-man roster for the 2025 u20 Rugby Championship. The second annual edition of the competition will take-place in Port Elizabeth, South Africa in May. The Four Nations tournament will include Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and hosts South Africa.

Coached by former Pumas scrum-half Nicolás Fernández Miranda, Los Pumitas trained earlier this week in Buenos Aires. The roster will resume training together on April 21-23.

The roster contains five players who also competed in the 2024 u20 Rugby Championship: Alejandro Barrios, Diego Correa, Gael Galván, Álvaro García Iandolino and Felipe Ledesma. Franco Rossetto was the top try scorer in the 2024 tournament. He now plays Super Rugby Americas for Los Dogos.

The u20 Rugby Championship serves the four teams as preparation for the World Rugby u20 Championship. Italy will host the tournament in June and July. Los Pumitas have a satisfactory draw. Argentina will compete in Pool B against France, Spain and Wales.
