Javier Rojas performed well on debut for Viadana this past weekend. The play-maker from Tucumán scored 14 points in what was a 28-24 loss against Viadana.
Rojas recently joined Viadana to play in the Italian Premiership, the Eccellenza. This sees him continuing his professional career outside of Argentina. Having been a Pampas XV player from 2012-2015 he moved to France in 2015 to play Pro D2 rugby for Albi.
The 26-year-old Rojas has five test caps for Argentina. Three of these came in the 2012 South American Championship. In 2013 he was a replacement against Italy in Rome while his most recent cap was against Chile in 2014. In 2016 he featured at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
