Leuta replaces Hume on Eagles roster

John Mitchell has been forced to make one change to his roster for the upcoming June international series and World Cup Qualifiers. Old Blue winger Luke Hume has withdrawn due to a hamstring injury and will be replaced by Matai Leuta, who joins Eagles 7s teammates Andrew Durutalo, Martin Iosefo, and Madison Hughes in the 30-man squad. Leuta won two caps as a replacement on the USA’s European tour in November, his first experience of test rugby.

Kickoff times for all matches have now been confirmed with the Georgia match at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw is set for a 7pm local time kickoff. The second World Cup Qualifier match against Canada, at San Diego’s Torero Stadium, will kick off at 3pm local. Tickets are now available on the official USA Rugby site.
