Provincial club champions were crowned in Litoral and Córdoba this weekend. Duendes and Tala won their respective club finals, downing Old Resian and Uru Curé.
Both championship winning clubs have produced a number of Pumas over the years. Enrique “topo” Rodríguez and Horacio San Martín both played for Tala. Rugby World Cup 2015 Pumas Juan Imhoff and Jerónimo de la Fuente came through Duendes club.
The Rosario club’s win makes Duendes seven-time champions. Tala’s title is the club’s third.
