Maple Leafs to test All-Americans

Canada will send 23 players as part of a Maple Leafs development squad to take on the USA All-Americans in July. The two sides will play two matches, on July 5 and 9, in conjunction with the Women’s Rugby Super Series taking place in Salt Lake City.

Included are seven players who took part in last year’s Super Series. Second row pair Camille Provençal-Aubé and Emma Taylor are joined up front by hooker Julia Folk. Halfback duo Lori Josephson and Jess Neilson will find the familiar Lisa Gauthier and Natasha Smith among the outside backs. Back row Gabrielle Senft was part of the Maple Leafs tour to England in December.
