Blair in for Pinkelman in Singapore

Pat Blair has replaced Ben Pinkelman in the only change to the Eagles 7s side to compete on the next stop in the HSBC Sevens Series in Singapore this weekend. Pinkelman, the find of the season for Mike Friday’s team, has returned home with academic commitments at Colorado State University.

After missing Hong Kong with injury, Carlin Isles has also returned stateside to recovery and Nate Ebner will stay with the team. The Super Bowl winner did not make an appearance in Hong Kong after being called into the squad late in the build-up to the tournament, but is expected to make his series debut this weekend in Singapore.

The Eagles finished in 6th spot in Hong Kong, losing the plate final to England, and are currently 5th in the overall season standings. All matches from Singapore will be streamed live by World Rugby.
