Get Into Rugby Chile Increased Presence

From Arica to Puerto Montt the Get Into Rugby program extends north and south within Chile. The World Rugby initiative gives thousands of boys and girls the opportunity to get to know rugby.

Adapted into Spanish the Get into Rugby program has been promoted under the slogan ”Ven al rugby”  and has seen positive results. Since April there has been activity in southern Chile while last Satuday, August 22 the program ran a program in the northern city of Antofagasta.

By the end of the year the authorities hope to achieve the goal of reaching 6,000 boys and girls and having them participate in the “Ven al Rugby program. Of them the target is to have 1,000 of them staying on to practice rugby.
