Three Chileans pen deals with French club

Three Chileans will play for French club Anglet in the Fédérale 1. They are Javier Meneses, Iñaki Ayarza and Ramón Ayarza. All three players have represented their country in the past.

Javier Meneses joins the French club from Bayonne. He does so for the senior roster, a move up from his time with Bayonne where he was involved with the espoirs. The 21-year-old hooker has played for Chile at the junior and senior level. In 2019 he faced the Argentina XV in Tucumán.

Iñaki Ayarza also joins Anglet from Bayonne. The 20-year-old center is a bright prospect for Los Cóndores. In 2019 he ha a strong match against Spain and was a try scorer in the win over Paraguay.

Ramón Ayarza moves to the French Basque club from Montauban, his team last season in the Pro D2. The 26-year-old loose head prop has four prior years with Bayonne in the Pro d2 and Top 14 as well as a season in the Fédérale 1 with ROC La Voulte Valence.
