Chile u20’s Play Warm-up Matches in Temuco

Chile u20’s mens team has been preparing for 2018 activities with warm-up matches in Temuco. The Southern Chilean city saw Chile’s ‘A’ and ‘B’ u20’s mens’s team play this past weekend.

Chile’s u20’s ‘B’ side defeated a local team by 31-17 while Chile’s u20’s ‘A’ side fell 19-14 against a regional Patagonian side from Argentina.

The warm-up matches are the start of a process which is building towards the 2018 Sudamérica Rugby u20’s. Involved in the Chilean u20 system for the matches were 37 players.

With Chile’s senior men’s side, Los Cóndores, having vastly increased international competition the junior program has taken on more importance than ever before. Those involved in Chile’s u20’s are the Cóndores of tomorrow.
