2017 RAN 7s Rosters

The 2017 RAN 7’s is to be a two-day event. It will take place on November 25-26. involved are to be ten men’s teams and seven women’s teams.

The ten competing teams in the men’s division are: Barbados, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico and Trinidad & Tobago.

The sevens women’s teams are to be: Bermuda, Dominican Republic, French Guyana, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico and Trinidad & Tobago.

The format for the men’s division is to be round-robin. Seedings are based on positions from the 2016 competition. On day 1 the top two teams in each pool go through to play off in two further pools while the remaining four teams will play off in a separate round robin tournament.

The Rugby Americas North 7s Championships doubles as a qualifier for various of other high-level tournaments including the Rugby 7s World Cup being held in San Francisco in 2018.
