Charron Names His Top 5 RWC Opponents

With 76 test caps Al Charron is among the most capped players from the Americas of all-time. From 1990-2003 he was ever-present in Canada’s test side. This included appearances in Rugby World Cups 1991, 1995, 1999 and 2003.

In all he played in 12 Rugby World Cup matches. In 1991 this included the win over Fiji and a try in the historic Quarter Final against New Zealand. In 1995 he would play in all three matches, scoring tries against Australia and Romania. He would also play in three matches in the 1999 and 2003 campaigns and would score against Namibia in Toulouse in 1999.
