Video: Isa Scores A Double in Lyon Win Over Top 14 Leaders

Facundo Isa continued his fine form in France, scoring a double for Lyon on Saturday. Playing at home Lyon knocked-over the Top 14 leaders, La Rochelle 29-25. The result lifts Lyon to 7th place in the French championship.

Isa featured from the bench this weekend. He came on in the 52nd minute, replacing Virgile Bruni. The Argentine No 8 helped turn around a 18-17 scoreline by crossing for tries in the 72nd and 75th minutes. The double follows on from an Isa try against Bayonne.

Isa walked out on a UAR contract this year. He did so to join Toulon whom he will play for on a two-year deal starting in July. With the UAR blocking him from playing for Los Jaguares he signed for Lyon as a medical joker for the remainder of the 2016-2017 season.

In his absence Leonardo Senatore has been the starting No 8 for Los Jaguares in Super Rugby. Senatore is also the leading candidate to play in the position for Los Pumas. Senatore has one try this season. No other back-rower has scored in seven matches involving the Argentine franchise.
