Jamie Cudmore was red carded for punching on Friday. The veteran Canadian of four Rugby World Cups was sent off in the 34th minute playing for Oyonnax against Colomiers. Aurelien Beco was yellow carded, also for foul play. Cudmore’s involvement in upcoming games is now in doubt.
Earlier in the match Oyonnax lost Florian Faure to a yellow card. This saw Oyonnax playing three minutes of the match with just 13 men. It played into the hands of Colomiers who went on to win the match by three tries to two.
The 30-20 victory featured a try to Agustín Costa Repetto. Now aged 34, Costa Repetto has three caps to his name for Argentina. He played against Chile, Samoa and Uruguay in 2005.
