Los Jaguares’ Freitas Joins Uruguay Roster For Argentina XV

Los Jaguares winger Nicolás Freitas has joined Uruguay’s roster to face the Argentina XV. Los Teros take-on their western neighbors in Bahía Blanca on Saturday. Freitas is one of 24 players selected by Esteban Meneses for the match.

Uruguay’s squad is to travel to Bahía Blanca today. They will settler in and prepare for their round two fixture, doing so after having come close to beating the USA in Texas in round one. The Argentina XV were winners in round one, defeating Canada in freezing conditions in British Columbia.

This weekend’s fixture is to be played at the Estadio El Fortín, home of Club Villa Mitre. The inclusion of Freitas will see both teams having Super Rugby players. Both Juan Cruz Guillemaín and Segundo Tuculet featured for the Argentina XV against Canada. They received game time in the 2016 Super Rugby season.
