The USA Falcons Roster for the upcoming Punta del Este 7’s has been confirmed. Included are a number of players with PRO Rugby experience or game time on the World Sevens circuit.
Among the big names are Eagles Aladdin Schirmer and JP Eloff. Cody Jerabek’s impressive PRO Rugby season for Sacramento saw him underlining his abilities. Alex Elkins, Matt Hughston and Eloff also played PRO Rugby.
The Punta del Este 7’s will be played on January 6-7 in the Uruguayan beach resort town. It is to be the first of two circuits of the 2017 South American Sevens. The second will be in Viña del Mar, Chile from January 13-15.
The USA will compete in both events of the South American Sevens. Also involved will be Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay and Olympic Gold Medalists, Fiji.
