Colombia Bow Out of Rio in 12th Place

Las Tucanes lost their one and only fixture today to finish in 12th position at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Colombia were up against Kenya and fell 22-10 in what was the South American country’s best showing at the games.

In scoring two tries against the Africans Colombia finish Rio 2016 with two tries in total. The scores went to Khaterinne Medina and Sharon Acevedo.

In earlier fixtures Las Tucanes lost 53-0 against Australia, 48-0 to the USA, 36-0 against Fiji and 24-0 against Brazil.
