Brazil Announce two home tests against Germany

South America’s 5th ranked country, Brazil is to host a two-test match series against Germany it has been confirmed. The test matches will be played in the states of Santa Catarina and São Paulo with the CBRU anticipating a strong response from the public.

The tour is to feature test matches on November 28 and December 05 with the matches being fully sanctioned test matches with World Rankings on the line. At present Germany is ranked 30th in the world, 9 places ahead of Brazil.

The chosen cities to host the matches are Blumenau, Santa Catarina and São Paulo City. Blumenau is famous for having German heritage and hosts Brazil’s version of October fest every year while São Paulo is home to more leading Brazilian clubs than any other city.

Admission will be free with spectators required to simply bring with them non-perishable food to donate to charity. Brazilian Pay TV network, SporTV has confirmed it will be covering the matches.
