Matías Orlando to captain Argentina against Uruguay

The Argentina XV’s Coached Felipe Contepomi and Ricardo Le Fort have confirmed the starting lineup and replacements for Saturday’s international against Uruguay. The teams will meet at the national Uruguayan rugby stadium, Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo with kick-off scheduled for 3:30pm local time.

Captaining Argentina from outside center will be the Super Rugby contracted Matías Orlando whose ten test caps to date include two caps in matches featuring Contepomi. Joining Orlando in the starting lineup will be Super Rugby players Rodrigo Baez, Ramiro Moyano and Santiago Iglesias Valdez while Santiago García Botta is among the replacements.

2015 will continue to be a busy year for Roberto Tejerizo who is to start at loosehead prop. Others near Pumas selection included are back-rower Lisandro Ahualli, scrumhalf Gonzalo Bertranou winger Axel Muller, inside center Joaquín Paz and fullback Román Miralles.

Pumita Domingo Miotti has been named ahead of Juan León Novillo at fly half while Miotti’s under 20’s teammate Ignacio Larrague will start in the second-row.
