Pablo Huete linked to Bayonne

French sources are reporting that Chilean Pablo Huete may be joining Bayonne. The 26 year old second-rower has previously played for both Pau and Massy in the French second division in addition to playing for the Tasman Makos in New Zealand.

Bayonne was relegated from the Top 14 to the Pro d2 by finishing 13th this past season. The club is looking to win promotion back straight away by improving the squad. A number of players including Puma Santiago Fernández have since moved on.

Huete has been capped five times, most recently against Uruguay in 2013. Should the proposed Americas Six Nations go ahead then Huete is certain to be heavily involved.
